Middle-school teachers can check student work from their own account. Students under 13 may not have accounts.
How it works here
The teacher pastes a piece of student work into their own account and reads the result. No student account is made, and no verification link is handed in by a student.
What has not been measured
Middle-school writing is often short and written by children. Nothing here says how well the check reads such writing: that has not been measured yet. Under 50 words there is no reading at all.
Student work
Our detector scores the text in memory and de-identifies any personal information for additional training.
Privacy policyFor a district
Districts: $1.50 to $2.50 per student a year, with a $5,000 minimum. Middle schools are included in a district quote.
Limits
A flag should be reason to look closer and not verified proof of cheating. A result is a reason to talk with the student, never a finding on its own.
